Markdown Preview is a Google Chrome extension that converts and previews markdown files (.md, .markdown) to HTML right inside Chrome. This is useful if you're writing markdown (ultimately targeting HTML) and want a quick preview. After installing the extension, check "Allow access to file URLs" in the options page of this addon. After that, you can open local or remote .md file in Chrome and see nicely formatted HTML.
